    New guy w/ 111 from FL!


    Hey all,

    Greeting from FL. Just picked up a Savage 111 Trophy 30-06 on closeout from Gander before they turned of the lights.
    Wasn't in the market but for the price, I couldn't pass it up. Already swapped out the rings for a DNZ and have a limbsaver on the way.
    Was going to upgrade the glass, but the Prostaff isn't all that bad.

    Look forward to learning the rifle and possibly hunting later in season with it.

    Can't wait to break it in!

    I have a 111 in 3006, and upgraded the ring and glass. Got a Nikon Buckmaster. Brighter than the pro staff. It's a shooter! You'll enjoy it. If you don't reload yet... start!
