Hard to go wrong with the LRP line... Especially if you're just range shooting (non competitive) If I wasn't a lefty, I would have gone that route.
Hi Savage fans,
I´m new to your forum, but looking to buy two new Savage guns. Will use them for range shooting only. Want to get one in 6.5 Creedmoor and the other one in 6 BR.
For the 6.5 CM, I’ve narrow my options to:
1.-) 12 Long Range Precision
2.-) 10 BA Stealth
3.-) 10/110 Predator Hunter Max1
For the 6BR, I´ve narrow my options to:
1.-) 12 LRPV Left Port
Would appreciate your input as to what would be better for range shooting and accuracy.
Thanks, Wille

If you are a serious bench shooter, hold Savage to a high standard on barrels, less so on triggers or stocks. I've probably had half my triggers worked on or replaced. My sons 243 trigger was set to 9#. He grouped at 6-8 inches. Put in an after market at 3.5, his groups shrank to 0.75 " with factory Federal or Hornady ammo.
