You should be able to use the plug screws, that were in your action before you mounted your scope base.

I recently bought a mod. 11 Hog Hunter and took it out to the range.
Great shooting rifle, very accurate and easy to handle.
I mounted a vx-2 on it and am very pleased.
However, after shooting around 100 rounds, the front sight worked loose and actually fell off.
While I wasn't going to use the irons anyway, I don't like that I have a hole in my barrel.
I don't have any screws small enough to fit, so any ideas or suggestions on how too fill the hole?
I was thinking maybe some JB Weld to fill to fill the hole and smooth it out.
It certainly isn't worth sending it back to Savage.
Thanks for any thoughts or ideas.

Call Savage, tell them what happened, they might send another.

Call savage, they will most likely send you another screw... then loctite it.
Quick call to Savage and a couple of screw plugs are on the way.
Thanks for the suggestions.
