    convert a 10/110 to rimfre

Wacky thought blew through my silly noggin. What are the issues with converting one of my savages to rimfire. One issue I think of first off is feeding a round. A second would be how to convert a centerfire bolt to rimfire. However, given the trigger, scope, stock etc, if done right the darn thing should be able to shoot very well if e barrel is set up right.

Complete redesign of the bolt and trigger system.
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.

You didn't mention the center fires throw length, but that complete rework would include clip mounting feed ramp, firing pin, and ejector.

Would think you could potentially move you barrel to a 22LR action.

I'd probably to the other way, consider what wildcats you could convert too.
The 7mm Mashburn Super Mag and 7mm Practicle had my attention. http://www.ballisticstudies.com/Know...Practical.html

Wouldn't it be easier to reload the 223 Rem to 22LR velocities? Lots of data out there for this.
