Can you convert a stagger fed SA to DBM?

I have a SA, stagger fed action currently in a B&C Medalist stock with a blind mag. Would like to convert to DBM at some point.

Is this even possible with the older (2005 ish vintage) model 10 action? besides a hole in the stock to stuff the mags! lol or another stock, what is required to do so?

You would have to take out the blind mag out off the action, and forgo use of the follower. After that you would need to drop the barreled action in a stock compatible with AICS format, or mill out the Medalist for bottom metal. CDI will do that work for you if you purchase one of their bottom metals I think.
They who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

CDI is the way to go for DBM (AICS pattern) on SF actions.
Purchased from them they'll machine your stock for free.

I sure hope you can as I have a pile O' parts to do it with. lol

I'm going from a stagger feed 300WM to .260 with ptg bottom metal, magpul mags, ptg recoil lug, and a boyds pro varmint that I'm going to inlet/pillar and bed myself.

EYEMAN, are you running a Stagger Fed Short Action with CDI bottom metal and their ASIC mags?
What stock do you have? I am running a B&C Medalist
Here's a pic of the rifle as it sits now in 223 AI guise. I honestly hate to take this apart. It is so darn accurate the way it is.
