I did the .223 version for my Axis and ended up with a 14 rd magazine. In theory I don't see why it would not work. But I will say this, you are looking at $60 in parts just to give it a try. And a 10+ rd .308 mag will not be light. And it took me *many* hours of dinking around grinding this and that to get the follower just right. It's a fun project, but it's not the easiest thing in the world and you can easily ruin some parts.

I have to wonder if it's better to just buy a pre-made Synder or Dark Eagle mag when stepping up to the larger rounds...
