    Boyds thumbhole stocks

Are these stocks inletted deeper to effect bore scope alignment? In the past I had my scope off my rifle numerous times and never lost zero. When I checked it with my cullminator is was where it usaully was. This time, it isn't. Although I did take off the scope mounts also. According to the collminator it's off to the right almost eight inches. and down 6 inches.

Lost zero.... can't remember bumping it.. I would have remembered that. ???

My stock was not deeper. I think the change was caused by removing the scope from the rifle/rings.
