New Bald Eagle Triangle front rest model BE1004

    http://bullets.com/search?q=(brand:%...oting+Rests%22)

Received mine today. I chose the aluminum (not cast-iron) frame and 'triangle' legs instead of the 'slingshot' version. 'Twas only $165 plus $10 shipping, plus front bag. There I chose the 3"er for $34 plus shipping. This is one of the 'windage' versions. The largish aluminum knob at the rear of the rest adjusts the upper pad left and right. This thing is built VERY nicely for $165; I'm impressed. Will have it and my Savage 12 Benchrest at the range tomorrow. :-)

I have the slingshot version and like it a lot. I modified mine to remove the adjuster cable, swap the head to have the adjuster knob on the left, and reinstalled the large adjuster knob using a carb bolt. I had to buy 4 bolts so if you want to try this, send me a PM with your address and I will mail you a bolt.

These mods make the rest a lot better for sure.
