Dumb question. Warne Maxima m902/902 on savage axis?

I am putting these bases on my Axis. There are 2 sizes. Does it matter which base goes in the front and which one goes in the back? Seems like either will fit in either location.
I'm sorry for the stupid questions. This one is a learning experience for me.
    Thank you

It'll work either way. Doesn't matter near as much as getting the scope in the right place to give you proper eye relief.

What do you mean 2 sizes?
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
