Virgin shots through the new build

FINALLY!! Some nice enough weather on a weekend to get out & run some rounds through the new build... http://www.savageshooters.com/showth...d-FINALLY-done

Loaded up 100 rounds of a lower power load just to get sighted & broke in: 7mm-08 w/162gr ELD-Match on top of 36gr of IMR4064.







Averaged about 2340fps, so I've got plenty of room to work up... these were just "throw a dart at the book" loads to get a baseline.

After getting sighted in on the rest & bag, I decided to set those aside & slap the bipod on and see just how rusty I was... These were shot off the shoulder/bipod with no bag or rest!! I did seriously shank a couple, but this has me really stoked to hit the reloading bench.
