First measure both lugs from the bottom of the bore to the bottom of the lug. Note the difference. Then set the stock forend upright on a bench, lay a straight edge across the recoil lug recess then take two measurement, one from the top of the straight edge to the bench and one from the top of the straight edge to the bottom of the recess. Its difference in the amount of material you'll have to play with and how much needs to be removed ( plus a little for clearance) with the new lug.Originally Posted by Banjobob
