    Target action need help!

So I bought a used target action on gun broker couple months ago. It was just the reciever and bolt no safety parts or trigger parts came with it at all. Long story short savage sent me all the parts to put it together. I have an extra part number 105350 is on the envelope. My other savage rifles I took apart i dont see this little ball in? Is it only for the target action? Where does it go? Seems to function without it but makes me nervous !!!

It should be in this listing and is not. (thank to Hots442)

Call Savage, unless someone else has it off their head.

Sounds more like something from the bolt

It's just like an 1/8 inch black steel ball. The action functions fine without it.

It's not steel, it's nylon. It is used for plugging the safety engagement screw once it's adjusted. That keeps people from adjusting the safety once it left the factory.
