    Hey From NY


    Howdy all. I am an avid whitetail hunter for 30 years and I am looking in to purchasing my very first Savage. Considering a 11FCNS in 7mm-08. Not ashamed to say I am a little recoil sensitive. I have a Leupold VX1 3-9 and some Burris signature Zee Med. rings on a shelf collecting dust that I think would work pretty good. Not sure about a base. Done quite a bit of reading on Savage and everything seems pretty positive for out of the box shooters. Anyhoo, any advice would be greatly appreciated to a future new Savage owner.
