    308 vt


    Ok still reading all I can about this gun. It's just a fun gun, shoots great with factory ammo, just one thing kicks hard.

    If it's too much for you,
    There is always reduced recoil factory ammo from Remington,
    or even better yet H4895 powder which can safely be reduced to up to 60% of max in .308 if you hand load.
    I load H4895 and 125/130gr pills in .308 for the kids. Recoil is less than a .243 by a pretty fair amount.
    A good wife and a steady job has ruined many a great hunter.

    Go put a brake on it. Will reduce the recoil. Shoot lighter rounds as was suggested above.
