    Re: screws for medalist stock

I have to ask before I go to the range. I just mounted my 12 fv 223 action and barrel to a B/C Medalist stock and used my original bolts. I didn't even think to count the turns. Are my stock bolts to short (as in am I going to damage the action threads or snap a bolt)? I know how to check for too long (the bolt binds), but how do I tell if my bolts are too short? Everything seemed to bolt up fine (had to use the plastic magazine seating hammer a touch). Please confirm these stocks can mount with the stock 12 FV action bolts.
    thanks rc
