    308 & 338 at 1km (1100 yards) with DIY vibration sensor device

    Second thread in here !

This time, it's to show you the simple device that I built and used this summer to shoot at 1km... and some nice lookign Savages of course lol.

Here are some videos of the shots and location.
I've also included a small video of the device when I finished building it.

    Hope you enjoy.
If you have question on the device I will be glad to respond !
Everything holds in the blue box. You tape it in the back of the steel plate and expose only the light on a stick at the end of a usb extension cord.

Yours looks great! I've been building alarms for a few years now have been able to work out any kinks. I have a total of 5 I've built and use. Usually only use them any thing past 1k.
Yours looks like it functions perfectly.

Interesting. Accelerometer or Velocometer? Parts list?

That would be a good location for some permanent targets placed at various distances.
There dosen't appear to be any shortage of natural material known as rocks.
They can even be painted in some neutral color that makes finding them easier without being obvious to others.
Nothing to set up, and when it's time to leave, just leave.
