    Savage muzzle brake

This is not a want ad. A really good guy at the range has lost his factory muzzle brake after using a suppressor for a year. It's an FCP-K shark gill style brake. He's pretty sick about losing it. I've about given up looking through classified ads eBay etc. Sure he could put any one of the millions out there on it. He wants to put the rifle back as he bought it. Does anybody know where to buy this part new? Savage was of zero help when I called them. Where else can I look? Thanks.

Calling Savage with the serial # of the rifle might be your best bet.

You can also try through the savagearms website store "parts finder", and you'll need the serial # of the rifle as well to do this. I just checked their parts finder link and it's under maintenance or something. Hope it works for you.

I'd bet good money Savage is buying them from a mainstream manufacturer (like the EGW picatinney rails that come on select models) so it's just a matter of figuring out who that is by comparing it to the various ones on the market to find a match.
