Pillar bed unnecessary for Axis?

Do the steel sleeves the action bolts go through in the Axis stock act as pillars? Anyone do a glass bed and pillars on their Axis?

Yes they do and no I have not bedded the synthetic Axis stock but lot's of guys here do.

I have had 4 axis rifles and never bedded any of them and they all pretty much shot the same. I would be curious to see how much improvement was gained, if any.
