Does anyone know of someone that makes a deeper 223 box. My ammo
is at a long OAL and will not fit the box's I have..Any ideas ..

I know youre a little limited with your OAL but get one with an actual hinge. The ones with the hinge molded in tend to not last long for me

I use the MTM RSS-50 hinged top, made for 22-250 Max OAL.=2.500". To stop,brass from rattling around, add piece of foam to inside of lid.

Thew Med. rifle works for 2.26" and longer 223's through 308's . Look for the ones with a mechanical hinge [as pictured] and NOt the old style that just flexed a piece of the material.
There are others with the flexing/bending material for a lid hinge and they will last several years, just depends on how much they are opened and closed
