New Model 12 LRP in 6.5 Creed questions

Wooohoo just picked her up today! I want to use an Atlas bipod. The powers that be at Savage chose to use only one sling swivel. Has anyone added a second swivel, and if so how. If I do decide to do surgery, will I hit aluminium if I go back or forward when I drill to add a Picatiny section?

I just ordered one ,was hopping for some usefull info . Any way theres lots of weird stuff on ebay to do what you want .
