Welcome aboard
How's it going everyone. Name is Robert. I'm from good ol' Florida. I have a very small collection of hand guns. Just recently my Father passed away and I had a Savage 30-06 handed down to me. Gun is in very rough shape (was PAINTED Camo) and was told from other family members the barrel was "Shot Out." So,hopefully I will get the knowledge on here from fellow owners to help me restore this rig and get it back into working form. Thanks for the welcome and look forward to speaking with a lot of yall. Sure this will be a fun adventure...
Welcome aboard
Welcome. Personally I would clean it squeaky clean (carbon and de-copper)and then put 40 rounds through it and see if it was indeed shot out or if it was just abused a little. You may not need to swap barrels at all and an hour of time and $25 of shelf ammo would tell you that. Where are you from in FL? I'm in Lakeland.
