    Savage axis in a boydsgunstock

    Hello there! Im new to this forum👌🏻
    I just bought a stock from boydsgunstocks to My axis in 308 i just Love the stock but i am afraid of the plastic clipholder and the triggerguard i have screw down the action but not mutch afraid il crack the plastic

    have any of you guys a boyds stock and is IT still hole?

    Welcome!

    Some people have had trouble with the wood around the front action screw splitting when the screw is turned too tightly or too often. I have not heard of the plastic cracking. The best way to avoid splitting is to install pillars.

    I do not like Boyds' new plastic pieces. The trigger guard is bad, and the clipholder is worse.
