Welcome aboard
Hello from the west country here in the UK.
I am a retired engineer and Target shoot within a west country club,
My guns...I have 2 Savage edge rifles, .223 & .308, which I'm very happy with!
I was predominately a pistol shooter before the 96' ban here in the UK
& owned only one rifle then, a Browning A bolt in .243...now I also have a Colt M4 in
.22lr, a Rossi Puma in .357mag and various shotguns...the UK gun laws are
very restrictive and of course in the UK we have no "right" to own a firearm,
it's regarded as a "privilege" here!
It was our intention to retire to the USA around this time, but that changed due to the financial
meltdown in 2008 which all but wiped us out.

Welcome Mytime. your not the only one who lost in 2008. It forever affected my perspective of the American stock market and financial system with the emphasis on regulators.
If I may ask, how do most people in the UK feel about not being able to own firearms with the current immigration/crime issues?
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
Welcome!
