Could not post pics in one post because my photobucket would close and delete my savageshooters post etc. so this is what it came to lol

    Anyways,

Was 68 degree, 30.05 pressure and 77% humidity. Shooting 142 SMK.

Scope was maxed out and I was holding 20 moa drop with the reticle.

25 total. Took bout 5 rounds before I was able to even see a hit in the dirt. Had my scope backed off to 12 power so my reticle could be used for moa correction. On 24 power the target was at the bottom of the scope.
That's after adjusting 62 moa in the scope (maxed out elevation)

Would shoot, then lean over and watch through spotting scope on 40 power to see hit/dirt etc.
Target was in an area where only a few feet on either side was dirt. The rest was long grass. Anything higher or lower than the target was impossible to see.

Had varying wind from 1 O'clock to 11 O'clock at about 3-6 mph. I was honestly completely suprised this round would even hold stable at this distance.

Shot 6 rounds here the other day and came close but didn't hit. That gave me an idea of where to hold. Had a spotter that day which made it easier. Was also dry the other day so there was more dust. Rained earlier in day so had no dust for today's shooting

Good job Hafe. People under estimate the 6's and 6.5's. They aren't the best for this job, but they are capable. At the PRS match in Vegas this year they had one stage the was 9 shots. 3 at 900yds, 3 at 1400yds, and 3 at 1 Mile. Believe the 1400 and mile targets were 36" across from what all the guys there were saying. There were a number of guys who cleared that Stage with or had 7 or 8 out 9 scores on it.

Wasn't hard to see when they hit the dirt. Grass hits were impossible. Actual hits on target were barely noticeable. Was shooting suppressed so no hearing protection needed. Was able to hear a faint "clank" if I hit the target. The clank was bout 8 seconds after the shot, just guessing.

About 50% of my shots I have no idea where they went.

Only hit I could see in the spotting scope was the head and bottom right shot. Never noticed the one next to the orange. Could see the one that hit the ground on the bottom left but I saw it strike dirt first

Dang good shooting bro. I wish I had a mile range to go to on a regular basis.
They who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

Thank you. This is the only place I can shoot at that range from this spot. Literally 2 yard either way and I'm in 2ft grass. I have another spot from this location I can shoot 1440 yards. Shot a 1 lbs IMR 4064 jug there last year with this rifle

I so want to go suppressed. Im about ready to pull the trigger on a Silencerco 30 at a local GS. they finally started carrying them. I should of been using cans a long time ago.

70 according to Sightron. I've never actually counted tho. Sightron SIII 8-32 X 56 MOA 2 Reticle.

Has a Nightforce 20 moa base under it as well. Absolute max is 62.5 moa as it sits right now. That's zeroed at 100. As I said I have no idea for sure how much internal moa is there
