If your barrel is still shooting good, get it threaded for the suppressor and your good to go.....
Need some advice, I have a Savage 10 FP .308 Cal and have had it for a long time great accuracy for hunting. Recently got in to shooting suppressed and wanting to use a suppressor on my Savage. To my luck the barrel I have is not threaded.... should I have barrel threaded or purchase a new barrel???? Thanks for the advice.

Seriously, what is confusing here?
If you get a flat tire, the discussion shouldn't be whether or not to get a new car....
I'm a firm believer in the theory that if it bleeds, I can kill it.
Agree with GACOP. Shooting good, have it threaded. Good luck.
The only question I can think of is the barrel large enough for the suppressor to be able to have a shoulder . If I remember correctly, you factory FP barrel has the diameter to get the job done.
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
thanks guys. going to get it threaded. hope accuracy doesn't change.
