    Vortex PST???

Well it is more than half way through July. Has anyone heard if the second shipments of PST scopes have been shipped? If not when do you think that will be?

    Re: Vortex PST???

I talked to Vortex and the shipment came in but they were unhappy with the clicks on the turrets, so they sent them back. They would not give me a date on the expected arrival of the nexr batch, just said months. They said the demo's functioned great but the clicks were not crisp on the production models.

Ugh...I'm never going to get my PST.

    :'(

I may need to pick up something cheap for my 12 LRPV so I can shoot it while I wait! Going through withdrawal at the moment...

Me too. Still waiting. I only put down 10% deposit so further down the list then paying for it outright.

If anyone has one how are they liking it. Is the tracking good. At 24 power is it ok seeing.

    Re: Vortex PST??? UPDATE!!

Here are some new posts with pics that I have made since I received my replacement PST 6-24x50mm FFP MOA scope with the Custom Turret:

My new replacement Vortex 6-24x50mm PST FFP MOA scope with all the updates was at my door this morning. I also bought the "Switchview Throw Lever" and the "30mm Bubble Level". I'll try to mount it today and sight it in tomorrow. Oops I almost for got that I have to install the custom turret and the zero stop.

I turned the turrets and they are definitely better than the first one.

The group at top right is 3/4" and the one in the black is 1+ 3/4". I have shot much better, but was in a hurry to get the custom turret zeroed at 200 yds. and it was VERY VERY windy and the powder charge is to hot and doesn't group as good as my other load.

Did I make enough "excuses" yet?

Here is the very first target I shot with the Custom turret at 400 yds. with the old PST scope:

PS: One bubble level is on the Picatinny rail and the other is on the scope. I'm planning on taking the bottom bubble off. am also going to return the "Switchview Throw Lever" because I like how the power ring turns as is.
