Savage 111 barrel swap

Currently have a stock 111 in 30-06. Any problems with putting a drop in 6mmBR norma on a long action?

Yes you will be able to mount the barrel. You will probably not be able to feed 6mmBr from the magazine. Plan on single feeding. I did the same thing from a 110 G series rifle in 270 Win. It is a blind magazine, stagger feed. Your 111 may have a detachable mag. The issue is the same.
