Personally haven't done it but I believe others have.
my buddy has a 12 lrpv ,,,, the left loading ports is a nice feature,,,, thinking of buy a left handed axis and installing a right hand bolt,, has anyone done this , any comments, thanks

How about building left load, right eject, from right hand action. Simply machine left side of action for loading port.
Fred Moreno (sharpshooter) has. I think he got the RBLP one and someone else here (Mr Furious, maybe) got the LBRP. As I recall he milled the ramps of the bolt lug shelf to ensure proper lockup. Otherwise, Axises would just require putting a RH bolt handle on the LH bolt. A RH stock would also be needed or the LH stock modified slightly.
Found the thread. Trust me: the pictures are gone, but it is what we are talking about here.
thanx all for your reply ,,,,, Dr ,,,, so ,,, are you saying there is some machining required to make this work ??? , other than adding a right bolt and dealing with stock issue,,,, ty
You **** tight ass,buy a lrpv and be done with it!
Unless I'm mistaken, the ramps in the receiver need to be cut or the primary extraction ramp will not allow the bolt to go fully into battery.
