I've always subscribed to the "keep the scope as close to the barrel as possible" mantra. I think both of your scopes are mounted way too high. There are several factors affected by this.....Specifically cheek weld, scope adjustment and making the rifle top heavy. Unless you are doing distance shooting and need to use tapered bases I think you should lower your scopes some. They sure look awfully uncomfortable to shoot.
