    Old style bolt woes

Working on a build, picked up a 111 in 30-06, and when I went to build the bolt before I sent it off to SSS, the mag bolt head from my Stevens didn't fit, since it wasn't notched. Ordered another just in case there was something different with a Stevens bolt. After searching around some, I see that it is old style vs new.

I'm building a 300 WM, so the larger pin sounds good, but should I just suck it up and order a new bolt body from SSS while they flute the bolt, or machine the notch out, or what direction should I go?

    Thanks in advance.

Just grind out the protrusion in the bolt body, then any bolt head will fit.
