    Bolt baffle

Can someone tell me is there a special way to cut the bolt baffle to modify it from .223 to .243 bolt head

Baffle can be rotated 180 degrees.

front bolt baffle can only be rotated on axis bolts
to rotate a 10 or 110 baffle you will need to grind the fin off

Am I missing something here? The front baffle shouldn't need to be touched going from .223 to .243, just a different bolt head.
There really is an excuse for everything!

Well not exactly true Dan. For the OP...here you see the "fin" that needs to be removed to rotate. Othewise you need to cut the extension off so the bolt can be cycled rearward enough to pick up the next round.

I see,, a little touch up on a grinder would be a simple fix as drybean said.

Midway seems to have the .308 PTG bolt head which is a .473.
