Looking good. I have that exact same sling. Let us know how you like that Nikon one you've spent some time with it at the range.
Hey all, I took a ride to the new Basspro Shop a few towns over, armed with some Christmas cash and a gift card. I decided my plinker ( Mk2 GL) needed some new glass. I went with the Nikon Prostaff Rimfire II 4-12 x 40. Yes I know that's a huge scope for that gun. However I rarely shoot under 100yds. and the extra magnification is a huge help for my aging eyes. Plus I'm a huge believer in a scope should sit as low as possible and I hate removing iron sights for scope clearance. I had a set of Warne QD rings sitting in the closet and well the fit is pretty **** perfect. and if I need to shoot close up I can have the scope off in seconds and use the irons. I don't think it looks ridiculously huge on the rifle, but it is big. the funny part is I think I spent more on the scope and rings than I did on the gun.
So far I'm impressed with this scope. very clear and bright and the BDC 150 reticule is sharp and easy to see. Weather permitting I'm going to take it out tomorrow and sight it in.
