No need to break it down anyway, until you get the new one. That's the beauty of it.
I'm doing a build on a 243 Axis chassis and if the turn time is lengthy, I will just let the grandson hunt with it the way it sits rather than break it down just to let it sit.

Depends, but I wouldn't bank on getting one that quick. You may be better suited picking up an in-stock prefit from any one of the various vendors that carry them...

Ask Jim. His estimate for mine was only a week off. Not saying he will always be that close on his estimate but a good place to start.

Whatever the wait time is ....... A barrel from Jim is worth wait
What caliber are you considering? Are you staying with a sporter weight barrel or moving up to a varmint weight? If considering a varmint weight, talk to Jim at Northland Shooter Supply, he has common calibers from Criterion in stock.

I think he's really getting his rhythm down now in terms of having a feel for the supply chain and his shop's output capacity. It may not be lighting fast since he's still a one-man show, but his ability to assess when barrels will be done is improved.
Unfortunately, after waiting a few months for the much anticipated shipment notification from Jim, I think my most recent barrel rolled off the USPS truck outside of Shreveport!
EDIT: Ah, back on track!

When I ordered a barrel last summer, Jim said about 8 weeks. Arrived 8 weeks to the day. He is very reliable. Also, The barrel is a very good one.
Ive got a 6x45 barrel on order from jim at apache and I was told about 1 month to get the blank and start the chambering, threading and crowning process.
Okay, just an update: the barrel that arrived yesterday was not the barrel I ordered three months ago. It was the barrel I ordered four weeks ago! That's pretty darn fast for a full custom. Actually, I guess the .243 I'm waiting on is more custom since it's being throated to my specs.
I ordered a .450 bushmaster barrel on November 28th and it arrived today! Way quicker than I expected.
I ordered one in July and got it two weeks ago.
