    Undecided

My question is: Should I build a custom rifle with the Savage 12 target action and buy the Nightforce Benchrest for $1250
    -OR-
Buy a factory Savage 12 FTR or Palma and buy the more expensive NXS or Competition???

Somebody make up my mind for me!

Custom Rifle with better NF is not an option as my budget won't allow it.

Id opt for the better glass if it was me...you can always rebarrel later.

Thanks LR. My NF dealer called this morning to inform me that the scope I had ordered wasn't in stock like he had thought originally so instead of waiting 8 weeks he credited my money back. I think I'll go with the better glass.

Im aware that the NXS model has features the benchrest model dosent. But i wasent aware the glass quality isent equal.
I cant imagine benchresters using them with lesser quality glass.

I've been told the glass and turrets are the same quality, but you honestly won't see many benchresters using them. Most are using the nxs or the competition line. Something about the front parallax adjustment being moved to the objective bell on the BR model just bothers me. It screams cheap in my mind for some odd reason.
