Yes they are all of them 6mm, 257, 6.5,270, 7mm, and 300 are all small shanks. And I show no mercy when loading them either.

Savage factory 270 WSMs are currently built on large shank, short actions. But there are lots of small shank aftermarket barrels out there.
Definitely want to go with a short action. Shank size will depend on your barrel. I went with the factory barrel.
