Hey guys

Can you give me some reasons why
my Savage 10 .308 is shooting about 3 feet low and 2 feet left.

Here's what I have

1st time out I took a look down the barrel at a 6" black circle
made sure to center the circle to the bore and the sides
dialed the scope to match the barrel centered to the 6" circle
shot a bunch of rounds and was consistently 3 feet left and low,
dialed the scope to match the impact point, only to find out I had very little
adjustment left.

I brought the rifle back, took the scope and rail off, looked for bent,
or misaligned parts and found nothing, put everything back on and mounted
a laser bore sight on it, matched the scope to the red dot at 100 yards
went back out, same thing 3 feet low 2 feet left,

The impact point is way off, I mean way off!
when the scope and bullet impact point match
I can look through the bore at the circle at 100y
and then look through the scope
the crosshairs are off the darn 3 foot tall paper target

I get half inch groups,
but I want to shoot 600 to 1000 yds and I am running out of scope travel.

bad crown ?
bad barrel ?
bad shooter :-( ?
