Driver size for 10T scope rail

I took my new 10T out to the 1000 yard line for the first time the other day and found I didn't have enough up elevation in my cheapo BSA tactical scope. The 10T appears to have a 0 MOA scope base, not the 10 or 20 I was told it had when I bought it. No big deal, I have a 20 on order and expect it shortly. I've been looking at the factory rail mount screws and they _seem_ to be T10. A T10 driver fits with a bit of back and forth wobble. I just wanted to confirm and ask if I need to do anything special to get those screws out. I'm scared to death of stripping them.

Not sure what the factory is using, but most scope mounts I've encountered with torx screws are T-15.

    I am with Jim, T-15.

The majority of 6-48 base screws take a T-10. Farrel bases use a T-15.
