I just noticed that they come with trigger gaurd and mag, that is why they are pricey.
Is the stainless varmint action that NSS sells for $515.00 one of the "target actions with the red accu blade), or is it the stainless repeater action with the drop mag that the model 12's have like the VLP model ?

Ask Jim he will tell you anything you want to know about the stuff he sells.

It is a stainless repeater action with the Varmint trigger I am pretty sure. Same action as on the Varmint series rifles.
BTW some 12 rifles come with the Target AT (the one with the red trigger). My 12 LRPV has one.
Long Range Precision....."Varmint"
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
Varmint actions are the standard (open top) receiver with Varmint (1.5-lb) AccuTrigger and DBM hardware. Targets actions have the Target AccuTrigger and have a solid top receiver.

Right. And my LRPV has the Target AT which adjusts down to 6 oz.. Not all of the LRPV's made during the time mine was made had the Target AT. The Varmint AT wasn't available at all at the time. It was before it was developed. Here's a photo if anyone is interested.Varmint actions are the standard (open top) receiver with Varmint (1.5-lb) AccuTrigger
