Man, I kind of put this number out of my head for a while for the one I am currently building, but here it is:

Axis in 243 Win - $179 (I got a steal on the gun and actually bought 2)
New CBI 1" Bull Barrel in 6.5 CM - $320
Trued barrel nut from Northland: $30
Single shot feed ramp from SSS: $18
Bolt fluting with color fill from SSS: $55
Bolt handle from Glades: $69
Stock from Boyds: $200
Trigger guard from Boyds: $15
Pillar and glass bedding materials: $50
Rifle Basix trigger: $90
EGW Base: $40
Vortex precision matched rings rings: $150
Vortex Viper HST 6-24X50: $650

So all in, the gun itself is going to be (still waiting on stock arrival and have not purchased the scope yet, pictures will come once it is done) about $1,850. That does not take into account this is the first time I have swapped barrels or built one from the ground up, so I also had to purchase a barrel nut wrench ($40) and action wrench/vise ($60). Along with the go and no-go gauges in 6.5 CM ($65). In addition to that, I have yet to purchase the dies, brass, bullets, or powder I plan to try. So all in on this project, I am north of $2,000.

Now, this is my 4th Axis. The first three all just got a Boyds stock for about $150ish, and wear Viper 6.5-20X50 for about $400. So my other three are all right around $800 each.

Man, that sure adds up quickly considering I got the gun for only $179.99...
