Clamp it in a vise and use the wrench flats to screw it off.
It uses crush washers to time it just like a AR15.
Good Luck!!.
I was wondering how much work is involved in removing the muzzle brake from this model in 223 rem seems like it would make a good varmint / coyote rig and the muzzle brake isn't really all that important out in the field plus shave a few ounces an I out to lunch or what PS. this is a lefty and we lefties need a few more models to choose from like a left handed pred model .thanks slipp

You could also stick a couple nails or such through the holes and use them as a "T" wrench to aid in turning the brake.
