I have now shot 5 clean 200,,or 400 match's with this barrel with the Hornady 105 HPBT's at 300 yards with X counts ranging from 25 to 33. One match that was at 185 yrds I dropped 5 points,, I was trying an old box of Curry bullets that were 70 grain's. They coppered the snot out of the barrel and I'm throwing the rest of them in the scrap pile. Hornady's 105's even with the long bearing surface hardly copper the barrel after 50 rounds.

When I initially tested 10 of the 70 grain curry bullets, I bumped up the Varget charge to 32 grain's. and at the same time ran some old Remington small rifle primer's. When I was done shooting I noticed the heads of the cases looked a little dark. I looked closer and found pierced primer's on 6 of them for the first time ever in my career. THE gases ruined the firing pin tip cutting it up pretty bad. I've always knew it had .060 protrution. I took pin out re-radiused it and set protrution at .038.
