    tactical supply Bipod Talons....

so ive been looking for some harris bipod spikes for awhile as we all know the rubber feet suck on just about every surface...ive been looking for the phoenix tactical spikes with no luck. i was looking around monday morning and came across tactical supply and seen their bipod talons and watched the video on their site...not the type of shooting i do but none the less the Talons looked like what i was looking for so i called. i dont remember the guys name that answered but kenny comes to mind...anyway i asked if they had the black talons for the harris bipod in stock and he said im not sure we are closed on mondays but let me check he came back and said yep got a set in my hand,i told him id order on line so he could get back to his nap...he laughed and took my order and said they would ship out tuesday.and i got them today!!!

the point of the story is that tactical supply is one of those places that has outstanding customer service and has made a life time customer out of me!!!

so i thought for $56 bucks shipped to my door these things were going to come in a plastic bag...to my surprise they came like this...

simple to install....and look like they will work fantastic...

these are nicely machined have a nice finish and are super light...i will get out and test them saturday and post up a few pics in the dirt and my thoughts after i test them. if your looking for some spikes or other tacticool stuff check these guys out... http://www.tacticalsupplier.com/

well i got to test the Talons out this morning...i like these so much i ordered a second set for my other rifle. it was pretty wet this morning as its rained every afternoon for the last week and the Talons worked great....they dug in and didnt slip at all when loading the bipod.

this was before any rounds fired...

this was after i shot 50 rounds...

Nice! They look like they really dig in and hold well. I may order a set of those myself. Thanks for the update! I checked out the link, theyve got quite a bit of stuff. Saw theyve got steel too, thought about maybe ordering a few plates and the talons.

If you shoot off a bipod in the dirt, grass, mud ect these are worth every penny.
