bell and carlson medalist on savage 10fp

ok i have had my eye on a the bell and carlson medalist stock and i love it. the only downside is the flat forend. i dont know if i could mount a bipod onto it. if so, what kind of adapter would i use? also has anybody used this stock? is it good quality and has it improved accuracy?

    Welcome to the site.

you may wanna use the search function. You'll find that ALOT of people use this stock.

The semi-flat forend rides decent on the bags, but you can still use a bipod on it. My bipod rubs on mine a little bit, but Hart makes a nice bipod adaptor for about $8 that raises the bipod slightly.

The quality of the stock is excellent for the price, and is probably the best pre-made stock under $250 IMO.

Do they make them for long action center feed mags with varmint barrels?

    Thanks!

dakota954, I put my mod. 12 with a 30mm Leupold mounted with med. rings on a B&C Medalist. Can't get a good cheek weld on the stock. I am going to go to a higher set of rings to see if that will help. Just something you might check out. If that doesn't work it will be in the classifieds. Quick

I got a harris benchrest ultralight bi-pod. It works awesome. The only thing different is that you need to align it before you tighten the finger nut, rather than it centering itself when tightening. I love it :)
