Send it to Sinman here on the forum. He just Ackley Improved 2, 223 barrels for me. Very pleased. He is in the vendor classifieds. BTW, I my favorite rifle of late is a 22-250 Ackley Improved. Bill
I recently purchased a Savage .22-250 LRVP rifle. It shoots well but I'd like to re-chamber to the .22-250 AI. Are their enough threads to do this if I have to set it back .250 thousands or so ? I would really appreciate your coments!

I am assuming you want to set it back .250" not .000250" , and your threads would have to be lengthened for a .250"
Whats the difference? .250" is .250 thousandths.Originally Posted by sinman

a 1/4 thousandths or a 1/4 inch, you can read it either way, .250" is 250 thousandths or 1/4" but with out the " .250 thousandths could be read a 1/4 thousandths
Yes I do mean .250 just in case my reamer neck is smaller than the factory chamber neck.Originally Posted by sinman
that is still a simple rechamber, anyone should be able to pick up and cut more threads.
