? about model 16 with blind magazine

I bought a 16 .300 wsm today with a synthetic stock that has a blind magazine. Is this an older 16 and if so how old. It has the top bolt release.

Is it center feed or stagger feed?
The stagger feed models are older and had controlled round feeding with a standing ejector mounted to the receiver.
