    Which one?

I'm going to build a 358 Winchester bolt gun off of one of the 308 based cartridges. My question is which would be the best to build off of an 11, 14 etc or one of the axis xp 2's ? The plan is to have a 243,7-08 etc to start and then once my barrel is made I can switch between that and the 358 or maybe just sell the bbl and leave the 358 as is. I'm looking to do a heavy bbl somewhere in the neighborhood of .750 to .850 at the muzzle and will put on a wood or laminate stock if I end up with a base rifle that has Tupperware on it. I'm looking forward to ideas and suggestions. BTW I'm a long time lurker that finally decided to register. Love the site. Thanks

All the 10's,11's,14's and 16's are all short actions and will work fine. Buy a base rifle with the .473 bolthead(.243,308,22-250) and make it the way you want it or just buy a receiver and go from there.
Willing to give back for what the sport has done for me!
