It shows good promise. Is this your first bhw barrel? I have been wondering how accurate they are generally?
My new 6x6.8 Savage build for coyote/antelope.
10lbs total w/bipod/scope/sling.
22" BHW P3 SS 1/9" tw & threaded barrel, heavy sporter profile, just 84 days on that.
I use nothing fancy in my builds as I use them.
Factory stock, .243 CF magazine & just had to bend the lips in and file the sides of the plastic follower, feeds 4 rounds perfectly.
I am happy with the results and accuracy at the range.
My coyote load 55g NBT ran from .307" to .867 shooting in 6* temps off the bipod & rear bag.
I do no break in ever, (wasting time IMO). I ran 100 rounds straight off the bat, ran wet patch 3x for a fast wipe after that & shot another 50 rounds.
Shucks I have maybe $650 in just the build overall.
I ran it to 400 & 700 yards w/the 55g NBT loads, yup smacked that steel w/no problem as well.

Willing to give back for what the sport has done for me!
I'd say that's fine accuracy from a Black Hole barrel. Hmmmmm, that 6mm/6.8 sound intriguing. Much better selection of bullets in 6mm.
Very nice 5spd !
I am interested in a barrel of similar contour and length. Can you tell me what it measures right before your threaded muzzle end ?

I'm considering the same caliber on a Stevens 200 short action I have. It's currently 223 Rem and feeds from a CF magazine. The bolt head and mag I know will need to be replaced.
Gacop
A good smith can open your Savage bolt head, that's what I had done. PTG also sells a 6.8 BH that is a drop in from what they say.
If you decide to go the PTG rout, think about the PPC sized bolt head. It extracts the 6.8 case perfectly and gives you the option of another case you can build from.
Todays target w/a few new test loads @ 100 yds.
55g NBT, 2.261: col, RP brass, cci250
TL 10 fast shots = .627"
TR 3 easy shots = .307"
Center is my basic load 8 shots = .307"
I will be running 29,29.5,30g H335 this week. so far every thing I load for it just shoots darn accurate
All shot in a 15mph cross wind also. All perfect at 200/300/400 yds as well.
