Nice looking stock. With enough requests, maybe Magpul will produce one for Savages.
Magpul debut'd a new stock for the REMINGTON 700 LA/Sa at SHOT this year...if enough of us ask maybe they'll make it for SAVAGE too...MSRP is $259 amd has optional DBM for AICS mags...looks like there is a in my near future...of course it will have a REMAGE barrel adn barrel nut like my Savages...

They've already implied they will do Savage short action 4.40" down the road.
Just a guy.
Does it have the aluminum bedding?
Did you catch what the price difference would be with the AICS bottom metal? That could be a very decent deal.
I just read their Facebook post. If they put out a this stock and their optional mag well for Savage, I'll buy one. The total isn't much more than the cost of a bottom metal conversion today.
I would love to have this setup for my hunting rifle for sure!! Very nice!! 10 round mags would be a HUGE bonus!!

The Facebook post I read said that they were making the mags "hunting compliant" and only holding 5 rounds, but you could modify them to hold 6. Of course, if it's AICS compatible then you have other mag options, but I hope they start making 10 rounders as well, especially at their $35 MSRP.
It has a bedding block that contains the action and its molded plastic attaches to that.
Does anyone know if the bedding block incorporates an actual V block design approach?
I'm hoping they do one for 700LA too. I've got a Remage 7Mag build coming down the road and I really like the looks of that stock.
I'm a fan of Magpul's polymer. It doesn't flex like some other polymers that other gun manufacturers use. The price point seems to be very good for the stock.

It is a V-block. The aluminum frame runs from mid forend through the grip clear into the butt. Hoping a Savage comes out soon. Good footage on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DIQrfINEx4Q They are using a casting though so I question the precision of the bearing surfaces and straightness. Skim bedding would fix that.
