New Here but not to weaponry

New to the site, didn't know about this site until today. Glad to see nobody is selling their SA's long guns.

i ve been hunting for about 40 some years. My grandfather (RIP) got me started with by buying my first gun Savage Model 24, 22 WMR / 410 the day I was born. Five years later was my first shot (he'd be reported to DHS these days)

He then got me my first Savage 20 ga when I was 10, put the Model 24 in the closet.

i joined the USMC when I was 17 and until last year my Model 24 has been in the same closet. Almost new condition IMO

looking at passing it down to my son who just as I will shoot it in 2 years at the ripe age of 5. Yep that's right at 50 I have a 4 yo and a 2 yo after retiring from the Army.

he can help me plink the zombies when they attack

I have a lot of weapons including several Savage rifles and still have the old .20 ga single shot.

That pretty much sums up my history, pretty boring military lifestyle for 26 years.

love the verification process, it's the first time I have seen it. Normally the numbers and letters that with my eye site need a rifle scope or glass to read.
