I've always been able to remove my firing pins from my Savage rifles either with a large flat blade screwdriver, or an Allen wrench, depending on the vintage. You got a 110 that requires something else?
Where can I buy a firing pin removal tool for the 110 bolt.
Thank you

If it is the newer style with cocking indicator coming through the bolt assembly screw the bolt needs to be removed from action & uncocked. Turn round button to large slot in bolt body to uncock, now you should be able to unscrew the BAS & disassemble bolt.
Out of pure curiosity can you remove the cocking indicator and use the early parts to put it back the way they used to be.
Willing to give back for what the sport has done for me!
Thanks for the info. I saw a demo on you tube today that describes the procedure as you said.
I was assuming I needed some kind of tool as I have with my Remington 700
